Follow these directions:
REAGENT BOTTLES are NOT to be set upon tables, they are either to be in your hand or in rack. (Otherwise the bottles get mixed up).
Students are NOT to use reagent bottles from other tables. (The bottles get mixed up).
Reagent bottles are NOT to be carried by their droppers. They drop off.
STUDENTS WORK ALONE, NO PARTNERS. (In the Qual Zone, you are all alone).
EACH STUDENT GETS 1/2 OF A TEST TUBE RACK AND FIVE 75mm TEST TUBES.
THE CENTRIFUGE MUST BE BALANCED with another test tube or with approximately the same amount of liquid within.
RECYCLE LITMUS PAPER. Give it to your instructor.
PENALTY for using another table's bottles, setting bottles down on table, unbalanced centrifuge, not wearing goggles is the PENALTY BOX giving us Nine out of Ten formulas!

TO OBTAIN YOUR UNKNOWN for a grade the following must be done:
... DO THE KNOWN SAMPLE and have the instructor check it off. Make notes in the flow sheet notebook to help with the unknown.
... PASS AN ORAL or COMPUTER TEST on the theory notes for the group.
... PASS A WRITTEN TEST on the THEORY NOTES.
... BRING A CLEAN, DRY, LABLELESS 75mm test tube to the instructor. He will give you a sample to analyze for a grade.
WHEN DOING THE UNKNOWN, ONE IS ON HER OWN. One gets no help from the instructor or other students!
